Can we customize our ceremony?
Yes. I will work closely with you to make sure the elements of your wedding reflect your vision for your wedding.
Can we write our own vows?
Yes. If needed I can provide you with tips on how to write your vows.
Can we include our children in our ceremony?
Absolutely. There are several ways to include your children in your wedding. I would be happy to help you find the way that's right for you.
Would you be willing to come to a rehearsal?
Yes. It's important that everyone is aware of their role in the ceremony. I will work with you, your wedding planner or venue coordinator to make sure that your rehearsal runs smoothly. This service is included in my fee.
Is there a charge for the initial consultation/meeting?
No. The consultation is part of the service I offer. If after our initial meeting you feel I am not a good fit for your wedding there is no charge.
How long does the ceremony take?
Between 10 - 30 minutes.
I forgot the license. Can we still get married?
I'm sorry, but no. Massachusetts law prohibits me from legally marrying you without your license in my hand.
I'm concerned that the people at the back of the room won't be able to hear us take our vows. What can you suggest?
If your venue or DJ doesn't provide PA service I can provide it for you.
Do you have a policy on religious or spiritual ceremonies?
I would be happy to perform a religious/spiritual ceremony for you.
If we have not finalized a location, can you help us find a great location for the ceremony?
Yes, I would be happy to help you with this. Please check out my "vendor links" page for other vendors to consider. Depending on where you are looking to get married there may be an additional fee for this service.
Do you wear a robe? If requested, would you wear something else?
I do wear a judicial robe, but am open to changing my attire to compliment your ceremony.
